On the left, Antique Brass: a deeper, hand brushed gold sealed with a clear lacquer, so it stays exactly as delivered.

On the right, Unlacquered Antique Brass as it arrives: lighter and brighter. With no lacquer, it reacts with touch and air and slowly darkens into its own patina over the months, so every plate ages a little differently.

Same price for both. Choose lacquered for a finish that never changes, unlacquered if you love brass that lives with your home.
